Situation
The Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) is South Australia’s largest hospital owned by the State Government and the largest build in South Australia ever undertaken. With a total budget of $1.8 billion; the RAH forms part of the BioMed City District in Adelaide’s CBD.
Task
To provide 5Pin modular lighting looms for all general lighting to assist in speed and efficiency of installation. The Australian made and factory pre-tested leads created a strong supply chain throughout the life of the project.
Action
MyModular provided a full set of marked up drawings and bill of materials for each zone which correlated to the intended installation.
Result
800 rooms provided with modular lighting solution, which equates to more than 40,000 DALI total light fittings. The benefits of modular allowed for a streamlined commissioning process, saving the customer time and money.
