Situation
25 Catalina Drive is a new office development that is environmentally sustainable being 100% electric and holding a 5 star Green Star award. Fredon ACT were looking for a fast and effective modular product to provide lighting to the development.
Task
To provide a modular lighting solution, that is both fast and efficient while also being of high quality to reduce onsite labour costs and reduce risk.
Action
Free issued 4,700 luminaire leads to the lighting supplier for fit off and delivered 1,350 backbone modular leads direct to site for install.
Result
As the products are made locally in Australia it reduced lead times significantly, allowing
Fredon to expedite works as the construction program allowed to do so. Being a plug and play, pre tested
solution reduced commissioning time significantly which was a significant saving.
