Project Description

Lendlease’s iconic new development comprises 39,000sqm of office space over 20 floors, with sensational natural light and views of the river and CBD. 839 Collins Street is the first building in Melbourne that achieves a workspace occupancy ratio of 1 person for 8 sqm, assisted by its highly efficient, side core floorplate of 1,960sqm NLA (approx.).

The Project scope included more than 7,600 DALI light fittings – integrated into the WBC 5 Pin loom solution; 2480 Flor boxes – prewired by MyModular and incorporated in our MLEX underfloor power solution; and nearly 25,000m of our 5core cable – for feeds from the switchboard to the field. Each aspect of the install was marked up by the MyModular engineering team, in conjunction with the Project Manager. Product was manufactured here in Australia, reducing the average lead time from 12 weeks to 3-4 weeks for delivery.
