The Westmead Hospital redevelopment is the biggest health infrastructure project in the state at a cost of $1 billion. Stage 1 of the redevelopment is focused on integration between Westmead Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and includes a new central Acute Services building with new operating theatres, surgical suites and state-of-the-art pharmacy and imaging.
MyModular’s newest product line, ELV-Lite was chosen by Heyday NSW to service the temporary construction lighting required for the Westmead Hospital project.
The ‘plug and play’ modular cabling system with distinguishable Australian made yellow sheath cable, low voltage to extra low voltage control boards and extra low voltage light fittings created safer environment, greater flexibility and faster installation of temporary lighting.
MyModular ELV products are completely re-usable and Heyday group will be able to use them on multiple projects.
“The MyModular ELV solution has been fantastic, we’ve used others, but these are far superior in every way. Onsite we have literally had no issues with them at all and will certainly be using these moving forward on all of my projects”
